Dietary Manager
Supervises staff and gives direction and delegates staff responsibilities in the preparation, presentation, service and quality control of all food. Coordinate all food procurement and production, and direct all employees involved in the food production process. In cooperation with the consulting Dietician, continually develop menus and recipes and prepare production schedules. Oversee day-to-day department operations, purchasing and nutrition services. Conduct nutrition analysis and menu planning. Manage the selection, training and development of staff. Ensure food service is in compliance with nutritional, safety, sanitation and quality standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma Required. Culinary Degree from a two (2) year accredited college program preferred.

Experience: Five years’ experience in the food service management and culinary experience, including procuring, service, and sanitation, preferably in a hospital setting.

Computer Skills: Must possess computer knowledge and skills.

Certificates & Licenses: Certified Dietetics Manager (CDM) – preferred,applicant does not have the certification, they will need to attain it within 6 months of hiring.
