Medical Lab Technician- Night Shift
Night Shift: Monday through Thursday 8:00 pm to 6:30 with an occasional weekend.Performs routine and special laboratory tests within a designated area. Performs quality control tests in a designated area. Provides in service training to other laboratory personnel and students. Must be able to read and interpret laboratory reports, policies and procedures in order to perform proper tests and deliver accurate results. Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and medical staff.
Required Experience: Associate Degree in Applied Science (Lab Science, Chemistry or Biology) from an accredited college or university; or successful completion of a 50-week military training program for medical laboratory specialists. Documented evidence of registration as an MLT or Medical Laboratory Specialist (CLS) through ASCP, AMT, or other accrediting agency.
