Respiratory Therapy

Registered and Certified Respiratory Therapists staff the Respiratory Therapy Department.  A wide spectrum of services are available including: administration of oxygen, breathing treatments, EKG's, EEG's, Holter Monitoring, and humidity and aerosol therapy.  This department supervises and performs more complex respiratory therapy procedures that include: arterial blood gas puncture and analysis, and monitoring and adjusting respirators used for assisted and controlled continuous artificial ventilation.  Services are performed for both outpatients and inpatients 24 hours a day.  Home care services are also available for patients with home healthcare needs.
